When Donald Trump, defeated in the polls, tells his supporters to go to the Capitol and ‘fight like hell’, and then goes into denial mode, despite plentiful backup video evidence, the whole thing becomes a Democrat-led conspiracy, a ‘witch hunt’ and a ‘stitch up’.

When Boris Johnson, flouting his own Covid lockdown regulations, joins with others in boozy get-togethers, and then goes into denial mode, despite plentiful backup photo evidence, the whole thing becomes an Opposition-led conspiracy, a ‘witch hunt’ and a ‘stitch up’. 

What we have here is yet another reminder that both of these ‘paragons of moral wrecktitude’ are life-long, serial liars and shameless purveyors of ‘alternative facts’, unfit for high public office, which neither of them should ever be allowed, or elected, to occupy again.
